Oculon AI - Privacy Policy

Oculon AI respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how Oculon AI ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our web application and services, including the conversion of vertical 9:16 video into 16:9 landscape video using generative AI outpainting.

This policy applies to all users of the Oculon AI application and website. By using the service, you agree to the practices described here.

Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication identifiers (such as those provided by Google sign-in or email/password authentication). We may also store your plan, credits, and billing status processed through our payment provider.

Uploaded media. Videos you upload are processed solely to provide the AI video conversion features you request. Uploaded files and generated outputs are stored in private cloud storage and are accessible only to you unless you explicitly enable a public share link.

Usage data and analytics. We collect basic technical information such as device and browser type, pages visited, and service performance metrics, to operate, secure, and improve the service.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain app functionality, including your projects and settings;
• Process your video rendering and conversion requests;
• Improve performance, reliability, and quality of the service;
• Deliver customer support and respond to your requests;
• Manage billing, subscriptions, and credits, and detect fraud or abuse of the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your videos for advertising.

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers that process data solely on our behalf and solely to operate the application:

• Secure cloud hosting and storage providers that serve the app and store your media;
• AI API providers that perform the video outpainting you request;
• Payment processors that handle subscriptions and purchases;
• Authentication and email delivery providers for sign-in and account communications.

These providers are bound by contractual obligations to process your data securely and only as needed to provide their function.

We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, private storage access rules, and strict server-side access controls. Uploaded videos and generated outputs are private to your account unless you choose to share them.

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Temporary processing files used during rendering are removed automatically after 24 hours. When you delete a project or your account, the associated media and records are permanently deleted.

The Oculon AI application is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
